What can I say about this place but "wow". There's just too much here to explore (and enjoy) even on many trips. From taking a wonderful stroll through the forest, to visiting archaeological sites that date back thousands of years, to resting in view of a lake and watching the geese fly by, there is no lack for things to do here. My personal favorite was climbing the 100 foot observational tower and being taken aback by a view, I feel, not enough people will ever get to see. I can say with certainty, that I will be to see anf explore everything else this astounding place has to offer.
Great state park with multiple visitors centers that offer great family activities. Campsites are nice, as well as the cabins!

Nice state park. Restrooms are clean and the showers are included in the rate. Despite Verizon's coverage map, there is practically no service in the campground.
This is a beautiful place to go. It's well maintained as well. The camp sites are wide ranging from tents to cabins. The woods have so many trails and the lakes are awesome. They have kids activities and water equipment rentals too. Great place to get away.
